House rules

We do everything we can to make your vacation full of joy and smooth. That is why we ask you to take note of and comply with the following house rules.

Arrival and departure (Check in-Check out)

Arrival

The apartment can be taken up between 15:00 and 22:00 on the day of arrival (check in). On the day of departure the apartment must be left no later than 10:00 in the morning (check out). Early check-in is possible if available (contact us for availability).
When making a reservation or at the latest on the day of arrival please indicate the approximate time of your arrival. The hosts do not stay in the apartment, we go there when the guests arrive. That is why we usually ask you to call us 30 minutes before your arrival. We are waiting for you in front of the house, we will show you the apartment, hand over the keys and carry out the check-in.

Upon arrival according to legal regulations we are obliged to scan the identity card (passport) of each guest with the "My Guest" application operated by the Hungarian Tourist Agency. Therefore, we ask that all guests bring their identity card or passport upon arrival at the apartment. Scanning takes only 1-2 minutes. (Please refer to our Privacy Policy).
The local tourist tax must be paid in cash upon arrival (HUF 500 or 1.5 EUR /adult/night).

If required, it is possible to arrive after 22:00 for a separate fee which is 25 Euro. Earlier arrival (as above) is free of charge.

Departure

The apartment must be vacated no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. The cleaning colleague will arrive at 10 o'clock and you can hand over the keys to her. If you want to leave earlier you can put one set of keys in the key safe next to the apartment door after closing the apartment. It is not possible to move out later but suitcases can be left in the apartment or in the lobby until 1:00 p.m.

Number of guests

The accommodation can be used by the number of people specified at the time of booking. When booking please enter all guests including children regardless of age (refer to INFORMATION > Booking & payment terms). The accommodation provider has the right to check - without prior notice - whether the number of guests staying at the accommodation has been announced or paid for in advance.
Only registered guests can stay in the apartment.
We ask our guests not to receive guests at the apartment.

Keys

We provide 2 sets of keys to the apartment. The entrance doors of the building and the door of apartments’ hall open by touching the proxy card. One key opens the apartment door. On the way out you have to press the button next to the doors. If the key is lost a compensation amount (HUF 25,000) will be charged upon departure.

Smoking, fire protection

It is strictly FORBIDDEN to smoke, use candles, or candlesticks in the apartment and in the entire building! This also applies to e-cigarettes and IQOS. Smoking is only allowed on the balcony. Please put articles and ashes in the ashtray reserved for this purpose and leave them on the balcony, do not take them into the trash can of the apartment. It is forbidden to bring any kind of flammable material into the apartment!

Proper use of the apartment

The apartment serves the comfortable rest of its guests. Stag or hen parties, any other parties are not allowed in the apartment!
Please be considerate of your neighbors and refrain from noisy activities. Pay attention to this when using the TV and other electronic devices.
Please use the furnishings and furniture as intended (beds, sofas) and ask the children to do the same. Meals should preferably be eaten in the kitchen.
The guest is responsible for his own behavior in the apartment, in the building and its surroundings, and bears the consequences of any accident.
The accommodation provider reserves the right not to accept guests who are intoxicated, have aggressive tendencies, who behave scandalously, who do not follow the house rules, or to immediately remove them from the accommodation. In this case we are unable to reimburse the guest for any remaining days.

Internet, television

We provide free broadband internet access in our apartments, the access data can be found in the apartments. The easiest way to connect is by scanning the displayed QR code.

We have subscriptions that provide a variety of channels on smart televisions and several streaming services are also available e.g. YouTube, Netflix, etc. We recommend that you use your own account and don't forget to log out when you leave. 

If you notice any service outages, please let us know via our contact details, do not try to repair or restart by yourself.

Waste management, environmentally conscious behavior

Please collect household waste in the bins located in the apartment. It is the guest's responsibility to empty the trash cans as needed. Filled garbage bags must be placed in the building's central garbage bin. When you move out you can safely leave the remaining full garbage bag in the bin, we will take it away when cleaning.
If possible, collect selective waste in a separate garbage bag. You will also find a selective bin in the building's central waste bin.
If possible, please use electricity and water sparingly - just like at your home. When leaving the apartment please turn off the lights. Thank You!

Pets

Unfortunately we are unable to accept small animals and pets. Thank you for your understanding.

Individual electrical appliances

The guest is responsible for any damage caused by his own electrical device, and the guest is obliged to compensate for the damage.

Safety

When leaving the apartment, even if it happens for a short time, please close the windows, turn off the lights and lock the door! Make sure that the metal door to the front of the apartments is closed upon arrival and departure. This ensures that unauthorized persons cannot enter from the stairwell. Our area and also Debrecen is considered very safe.

Cleaning, cleanliness

The apartment is always handed over to our guests in perfectly clean condition. If you have any comments, please let us know! Please keep the rooms and furnishings as clean as possible. Do not use items that leave permanent or hard-to-remove stains on bedding and furniture (e.g. felt-tip pens, colored pencils, plasticine, etc.). We ask our guests to use the kitchen and dining table for meals. Do not eat in bed. The cost of regular cleaning after your departure is included in the accommodation fee. If the apartment is left much dirtier than expected we may charge an extra cleaning fee (HUF 20,000). If necessary, you will find a vacuum cleaner, broom and shovel, mop in the apartment as well as in the hall. Thank you for keeping it clean! 

Lost and found

The operator destroys the food, food-type articles and medicines left behind in the apartment. We will try to notify the guest of other found items by phone or email and the guest can pick them up.

 Error report

We ask our guests to report any malfunctions experienced in the apartment to the operator immediately. Host speaking english: +36 30 933 1047 (also on WhatsApp!)

 Damage

The operator demands compensation for damages caused by negligence or on purpose.
